If you plan to deliver your submission, it must be delivered to the above address between noon and 8 pm on Monday August 11, 2008 (NO EXCEPTIONS). If you will be mailing your submission, it must also be received by Monday August 11, 2008.

New Artists 

Along with your completed application form please include the following in your submission (please note that your artwork will be returned but your documents will be retained by Calyx to be displayed in a binder at the sale):

•Artist’s resume - include address, phone number, email address, art education and experience

•Artist's statement - describe your sources of inspiration and motivation for making your artwork as well as information on media, technique and process

•Three to five photographs (prints) of your artwork that comprise a representative sampling of all the work you wish to exhibit and/or sell (please do not submit slides)

•CD of a maximum of 5 images to be included in our website (optional) - please label these images with your first and last name followed by a number from 1-5

•One to three examples of your artwork for jury

Returning Artists 

If you have participated in a Calyx event within the past two years and if your artwork has not changed significantly, then please only submit the completed application form. Please do not submit artwork for jury.

If it has been more than two years since you have participated in a Calyx event and your artwork has not changed significantly, then please submit an application form, new documents and new photos to us. Please do not submit artwork for jury.

If your artwork has changed significantly since the last time you participated in a Calyx event, then please send us a complete new submission including application form, documents, and 1-3 examples of your new artwork, as outlined above for New Artists.
